Terms and Conditions for EngagePay

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of EngagePay (“the Platform”) by Task Creators (“Creators”) and by Task Performers (“Performers”). By using EngagePay, you agree to comply with these terms. Please read them carefully before creating an account, creating, or performing tasks on the Platform.

Terms and Conditions for Task Creators

1. Task Verification Process:
Before a task becomes active on EngagePay, it must pass a verification process to ensure compliance with our content standards and policies.

  • Every task is reviewed manually
  • Verification ensures that tasks meet legal, ethical, and quality standards.
  • If a task does not pass verification, it will be rejected, and the Creator will be refunded immediately.
  • Task creators cannot dispute rejected tasks unless they believe there was an error in judgment.

Reasons for Task Rejection Include:

  • Incomplete or unclear task descriptions
  • ❌ Invalid links or broken URLs
  • Misleading or fraudulent content
  • ❌ Content violating EngagePay’s prohibited content policies
  • Suspicious promotions (e.g., pyramid schemes, illegal activities, etc.)

2. Prohibited Content:
EngagePay has strict rules about what kind of content is allowed on the platform. Task Creators must not create tasks that involve:

  • Sexual or adult content 🚫
  • Scams, fraudulent schemes, or deceptive offers ❌ (e.g., “Pay 2000 to get 10,000”)
  • Violence, hate speech, or discrimination
  • Political propaganda or misleading news
  • Illegal goods or services (drugs, weapons, counterfeit products, etc.)
  • Content that violates intellectual property laws

🚨 If a Task Creator violates these rules:
First offence: Task will be removed, and funds will be refunded.
Repeated offences: Account may be suspended or permanently banned.

EngagePay reserves the right to refuse any task that does not align with its business values.

3. Content Quality Requirements:
All task content must be high quality and professional. This means:

  • The task description should be clear, easy to understand, and errorfree.
  • Images and links must be relevant to the promotion.
  • Tasks must provide real value to Performers and viewers.
  • Creators should avoid misleading language or false promises.

Tasks that are poorly written, misleading, or contain irrelevant links may be rejected or removed.

4. Refund Policy for Rejected Tasks:
If a task fails verification, the Creator will receive a full refund to their EngagePay account.

  • Refunds are processed immediately once the rejection is confirmed.
  • Refunds will not be issued if the task was already approved and started running.
  • EngagePay does not offer refunds for campaigns that do not perform well (i.e., low engagement or conversions).

To avoid rejections and delays, ensure your tasks meet all guidelines before submitting.

5. Campaign Ownership & Content Rights:
When you create a task, you retain ownership of the content, but:

  • You grant EngagePay a license to display, distribute, and promote it within the platform.
  • You confirm that you own the rights to any images, text, or links used in your tasks.
  • You are fully responsible for any legal claims related to your content.

EngagePay does not claim ownership of your materials but reserves the right to remove any content that violates our policies.

6. Campaign Performance Disclaimer:
EngagePay
does not guarantee that your task will generate sales, followers, or conversions.

  • We only guarantee that your task will receive the number of views you paid for.
  • EngagePay does not control audience behaviour—some viewers may engage with your content, while others may not.
  • Task Creators must set realistic expectations when using EngagePay for promotions.

💡 Tip: To improve engagement, make your tasks attractive, clear, and valuable to the audience.

7. Refunds for Unsuccessful Campaigns:
EngagePay
does not issue refunds for campaigns that:

  • ❌ Do not generate sales or signups.
  • ❌ Do not result in the engagement you expected.
  • ❌ Have low conversion rates due to poor content or an unappealing offer.

Refunds are only issued if there is a technical error on EngagePay’s end that prevents your task from running.

8. Task Review & Approval Timeline:
All tasks go through a review process before approval.

  • ⏳ Review timeline: 24-48 hours (may be faster).
  • 🔔 You will be notified once your task is approved or rejected.

Creators must not attempt to bypass the verification process or pressure EngagePay staff for faster approvals.

9. Content Monitoring & Compliance:
EngagePay
monitors all active tasks to ensure they comply with our policies.

  • Tasks found violating rules after approval may be removed without notice.
  • Repeated violations will lead to account suspension.
  • Creators must ensure ongoing compliance with EngagePay’s guidelines.

10. No Task Cancellation After Approval:
Once a task is approved and running, Task Creators cannot cancel it.

  • Ensure your content, links, and details are correct before submitting.
  • Once Performers start completing tasks, EngagePay cannot issue refunds.
  • Task Creators cannot request a refund after approving a campaign.

11. Payment & Task Pricing:
Task Creators must pay upfront before their tasks are approved.

  • Pricing is based on the number of views required.
  • No additional fees will be charged after approval.
  • Payments are nonrefundable once the campaign starts.

12. Account Suspension for Violations:
If a Task Creator repeatedly violates EngagePay’s policies, their account may be:

  • Temporarily suspended (for first-time violations).
  • Permanently banned (for repeated violations).

🚨 Suspended or banned users will not receive refunds.

13. EngagePay’s Right to Modify or Terminate Services:
EngagePay reserves the right to:

  • Modify task approval criteria at any time.
  • Change pricing structures as needed.
  • Remove or suspend any task that violates policies.
  • Discontinue services if necessary.

Creators will be notified of major updates, but EngagePay is not obligated to provide services indefinitely.

Terms and Conditions for Task Performers

1. Task Participation and Limits:
EngagePay
has established a daily task limit for all Performers to maintain fairness and prevent system abuse. Each user can complete up to Seventy – Eight (78) tasks per day. This limit ensures that all users get equal opportunities and that the platform remains sustainable for both Performers and Task Creators. The task breakdown is as follows:

  • WhatsApp Status Post Tasks: Limited to three (3) per day to ensure a high level of engagement and prevent overposting.
  • Game Task: Limited to Fifty-Five (55) per day – Which is each Game Play is 5X per Day, allowing users to earn on every game they play while keeping it effective.
  • Reader Task: Limited to Twenty (20) per day – This section only allow users to claim 1 content per day.

Exceeding these limits may result in temporary restrictions or the inability to join additional tasks until the next day. EngagePay reserves the right to enforce these limits strictly to maintain platform integrity.

2. WhatsApp Number Verification:
To enhance security and prevent fraudulent activities, all Performers must verify their WhatsApp number before making a withdrawal. This verification step ensures that only legitimate users are earning and withdrawing funds. EngagePay requires a valid and active WhatsApp number to maintain a transparent and trusted ecosystem. Unverified users will not be able to request withdrawals, even if they have reached the payout limit. EngagePay reserves the right to reject or delay withdrawals for accounts that do not comply with this verification requirement.

3. WhatsApp Read Receipts Requirement:
For Performers engaging in WhatsApp Status Post tasks, it is mandatory to enable Read Receipts in WhatsApp settings. This feature allows Task Creators and EngagePay to track how many views their content receives, ensuring accurate payments. If a performer fails to turn on Read Receipts, EngagePay will not count the views, and the user may not receive payment for that task. This requirement ensures that Task Creators get the engagement they paid for, maintaining fairness and credibility on the platform.

4. Task Completion Requirements:
Performers must submit proof of completion before a task reaches its required number of views, clicks, or plays. Each task has a set target, and once it is reached, new submissions may no longer be counted.

  • For WhatsApp Status tasks, users should upload proof (such as a screen recording of people who engage in the task they shared) before the task is completed.
  • For Game task, users should ensure they have played the games and click on Update Scores and the Winings Scores  will auto update.
  • For Reader Task, users should ensure they read the content to the last page (Page 1-3 or Page 1-2). On the last page, users should input their email or username and click on Submit Claim to claim the reward. 

Failure to submit proof before task completion or click Update Score or Submit Reward may result in non-payment for that task or game. EngagePay strictly follows this policy to maintain fairness for all users.

5. Earnings for WhatsApp Status Post Tasks:
Performers earn money based on the number of views their shared content receives. The platform calculates earnings per view, ensuring that users are rewarded for their engagement.

  • Nigeria: ₦1.90 per view
  • Ghana, Kenya, South Africa: Rates will be announced soon.

For example, if a Performer accumulates 2,500 views, their earnings will be: 2,500 views x ₦1.90 = ₦4,750

EngagePay ensures that Performers are paid accurately for the engagement they generate, making it a reliable way to earn.

6. Game and Reader Earnings and Link Caution:
EngagePay also provides an opportunity for users to earn through gaming interactions.

  • For Games:
    • Nigerian Users: Earn ₦1.28 per play.
  • For Reader:
    • Nigeria Users: Earn ₦2.10 Per Read.
  • Other countries’ earning rates will be updated soon.
  • Do not enter bank card detailspersonal information, or sign up for any offers unless you trust the source.
  • EngagePay does not control third-party ads and cannot be held responsible for any issues arising from external sites.

This feature adds another way for users to generate income while engaging with the platform.

7. Submission Verification Process:
To ensure the legitimacy of completed tasks, EngagePay requires accurate proof of submission.

  • Screen recordings are mandatory for all WhatApp Task Only.
  • EngagePay reviews each submission before updating user balances.
  • Incorrect or fraudulent submissions may lead to non-payment or account suspension.
  • Your contacts must be saved properly on your device to avoid submission rejection.

This verification process helps maintain a trusted environment for both Performers and Task Creators.

8. Withdrawal Eligibility, Payout Limits, and Transfer Charges:
Performers can withdraw their earnings once they reach the minimum payout limit.

  • Transfer:
    • Nigeria Users: ₦3,000 minimum withdrawal.
    • Ghana, Kenya, South Africa: Minimum payout limits will be updated soon.
  • Airtime:
    • Nigeria Users: ₦300 minimum withdrawal.

Transfer Charges:
On every withdrawal, including withdrawals with airtime, a transfer charge of ₦10 will be deducted from the user’s account before or after executing the transaction. This fee covers transaction processing costs.

  • Withdrawals might be delayed or rejected if Transfer Charges aren’t deducted.
  • Withdrawals can be requested at any time, provided the balance meets the minimum requirement.

9. Payment Structure and Fraud Prevention:
Payments are based on actual views, plays, or reads received.
Any attempt to manipulate, fake, or artificially inflate views, read, or game play will result in:

  • Immediate account suspension.
  • Forfeiture of all earnings.
  • Permanent removal from the platform.
  •  

10. Account Monitoring and Suspicious Activity Policy:
EngagePay actively monitors accounts for unusual or suspicious activities. If any suspicious activity is detected, EngagePay reserves the right to take action, which may include:

  • Placing the account on hold for further investigation.
  • Resetting the user’s balance to ₦0.
  • Deducting funds from the user’s balance.
  • Removing the user from the platform permanently.
  • Taking these actions with or without prior notice to the user.

This policy ensures that EngagePay remains a safe, transparent, and fraud-free platform.

11. Task View Update Mechanism:
If a task requires 10,000 WhatsApp views and already has 9,500 views before you join, EngagePay will:

  • Count only 500 of your views toward the task target.
  • Pay you for 500 views and offer a 5% bonus on remaining views

This system ensures fair earnings distribution for all Performers.

12. Performance Quality and Engagement Guidelines:
EngagePay values quality over quantity. Performers must engage with tasks authentically rather than spamming or rushing through them.

  • WhatsApp Status Post Tasks: Performers must post content where their audience can see it to generate real engagement.
  • Game and Reader Task: Playing our game or reading our content should be genuine, not from bot activity or multiple device usage.
  • Make sure to allow each advertisement opened in a new tab to load properly. Don’t close them too fast.
  • Each advertisement is tracked, and loading time is considered before your game and reading are approved.

If a Performer is found to spam links, use automated software, or engage in misleading actions, EngagePay reserves the right to suspend their account and forfeit any earnings.

13. Task Availability and Geographic Limitations:
EngagePay offers a variety of tasks, but availability depends on factors like:

  • Your country or region.
  • Task Creator preferences (some tasks may be location-specific).
  • EngagePay’s partnerships with advertisers and promoters.

Not all tasks will be accessible to all Performers. EngagePay does not guarantee that all users will have an equal number of tasks available daily.

14. Account Suspension for Inactivity:
Performers who remain inactive for extended periods may have their accounts temporarily disabled or permanently deleted.
  • Inactive accounts (no tasks completed for 60+ days) may be reset to ₦0 balance.
  • Users who do not log in for 90+ days may have their accounts closed automatically.

If you anticipate a long period of inactivity, EngagePay recommends withdrawing your funds before becoming inactive.

15. Task Disputes and Resolution Process:
If a Performer completes a task but does not receive payment, they have 7 days to dispute the issue. To file a dispute, Performers must:

  • Submit proof of task completion (a screen recording).
  • Describe the issue clearly.
  • Allow EngagePay up to 3 business days to investigate and resolve the dispute.

Decisions made by EngagePay are final. Disputes submitted after 7 days will not be reviewed.

16. Account Ownership and Security:
Each EngagePay account is personal and nontransferable.

  • You cannot sell, rent, or give away your account.
  • If another person accesses your account and violates EngagePay policies, your account may be banned.
  • Make sure your Bank Account details are added to your profile instantly; don’t use someone else’s account; changing it is crucial. You will have to submit a lot of information to get the account information reset. 
  • Add Your withdraw PIN
  • Verify your email and WhatsApp number.

If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password immediately and contact EngagePay support.

17. Promotion and Referral Abuse:
Performers are encouraged to invite friends through referrals, but the following referral abuses are strictly prohibited:

  • Creating multiple fake accounts to claim referral bonuses.
  • Signing up for others without their consent.
  • Using misleading advertisements to attract referrals.

EngagePay reserves the right to reverse referral earnings and suspend accounts involved in referral fraud.

18. Taxation Responsibility:
EngagePay does not withhold taxes from user earnings. Performers are responsible for:

  • Declaring their earnings under local tax laws.
  • Paying any applicable taxes on their income.

If required by authorities, EngagePay may report user earnings to relevant tax agencies.

19. No partial Payments:
EngagePay does not offer partial payments for tasks that are incomplete. If a Performer does not meet the task requirements, they will not receive any compensation for that task.

By using EngagePay, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. EngagePay reserves the right to modify these terms at any time.
